K

ingwana is a pidgin Swahili that is widely spoken in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is spoken by millions of people in the country as well as by hundreds of thousands of Congolese in the diaspora. Primarily speaking, it’s not as arabized as the so-called original Swahili that is spoken in Kenya and Tanzania. We have in-house native speakers who translate Kingwana and have decades of experience amongst themselves. Kingwana is their mother tongue so they understand the nuance, tone and hidden meanings of the language.
